A fairly significant bug was introduced in version 1.5 of Tweet Remote Control, with regards to the Twitter re-authentication timer. A change was introduced in version 1.5 that stopped Tweet Remote Control from having multiple connections to Twitter, essentially, but this change accidentally broke the re-authentication feature altogether.
A revised version 1.5.1 has been released after two days worth of personal testing. The Twitter re-authentication feature has been re-coded and the bug has therefore been fixed. The new code for this feature is more efficient, as it no longer runs on a two-minute timer (or any timer at all). It simply tries re-authenticating with Twitter continually as soon as the connection drops out (commonly Internet connection related).
Everyone who uses Tweet Remote Control is strongly advised to update to this new version 1.5.1 to ensure Tweet Remote Control truly is always-on, as originally intended. Please head over to the official page to download it. Remember to uninstall any previous version prior to installing this new one, and that this procedure does not reset the configuration on Tweet Remote Control as it is stored in your Windows registry.
