Tweet Remote Control has now been swiftly updated to version 1.3. This new version has added quite a few new capabilities that I have been wanting to add since I released version 1.2 on this website.
The full list of changes made, as well as the download link, are available from the Tweet Remote Control page. Nevertheless, I will outline them here. The new version is now able to open your ASCOM roof and check and report back the current status of both your ASCOM roof and ASCOM mount. Moreover, there are now safeguards in place to ensure that the program does not encounter problems functioning if it turns out that an ASCOM device did not connect properly (either due to lack of physical connection or lack of power). This is important in keeping the program working even when things go wrong.
An extra feature added, that I am particularly proud of given the amount of work it required, is the ability to control a Lunatico Astronomia Seletek Dragonfly power relay. This beautiful piece of equipment is the ultimate solution to a permanent setup in an observatory, for complete power control over your equipment and other devices, with the ability to act on sensor data as well as manual input. I personally use one to control the power on all my equipment at my remote setup, and it helps to now be able to open and close relays (effectively turn connected equipment off and on, respectively) with the simple use of a tweet command.
