A new PixInsight post-processing example tutorial has now been published. In contrast with the first one published a while back, this one is based on narrowband images captured with a monochrome CCD camera. The image is of the NGC7000 North America Nebula and IC5070 Pelican Nebula, captured in Hydrogen-Alpha and Oxygen-III to form a narrowband Bicolour Palette image. This tutorial is again self-contained, with links to other tutorials for further reading regarding particular techniques employed. Given that the data was captured using a monochrome CCD camera rather than a DSLR and given that it is a fully narrowband image rather than a One Shot Colour (OSC) image, it is very different to the other post-processing example tutorial published a while back.
